The Parker Room
Capacity: 18 guests
This cozy room embodies the lively atmosphere of the Acme dining room in an intimate setting. The Parker Room is perfect for a variety of events, from seated dinners to special celebrations to “why-the-hell-not” get-togethers.
This space is slightly removed from our main dining room, adjacent to our bar and patio entrance. This room is separated by a heavy curtain that may remain open to the bustling atmosphere of the restaurant, or closed to provide a more secluded setting for you and your guests.
The Parker Room can be reserved for a half-night rental or a full-night rental.
The Patio
Capacity: 40-50 seated, 65 standing cocktail
Welcome your guests to a vibrant, outdoor dining experience on Acme’s private patio, which includes its own dedicated bar space. Our patio oasis wraps around a lush garden and fountain centerpiece, with greenery and plants filling the corners and walls of the space. Overhead, twinkling string lights cast a warm glow over the teak tables and cozy banquette seating.
The Acme Patio is completely covered, but open air, allowing a breeze to move through the space. Events booked on the patio are rain or shine.
Atlas Bar
Indoor capacity:
30 casual seats (mix of low cocktail tables and bar stool seating), 45 standing cocktail
Outdoor capacity (in season):
Adds an additional 15 casual seats or 20 standing cocktail
Our sister cocktail bar, Atlas (just a few doors down from Acme!), is a chic, cozy, and well-decorated space serving uptown drinks in downtown Carrboro. Seating is a mix of comfortable couches, love seats, benches, chairs and bar stools and is perfect for a buffet or hors-d’oeuvres-style event catered by Acme.
Atlas’s back patio is an intimate, luscious space that adds more seating and mingling space for your event. It is not covered so it is dependent on the weather.
You can also book a private or semi-private cocktail class for an additional fee!
Acme Buyout
Indoor capacity:
65 – 80 seated
Outdoor capacity:
Adds an additional 40 seated
or 65 standing cocktail
For larger events, the entire Acme space can be rented out which includes the full indoor space as well as the outdoor patio (in season).
Off-Site Full Service, Pick-Up or Drop-off Catering
Acme offers fully catered meals you can pick up or have delivered to you and, additionally, can provide everything you need to serve the meal – from chafing dishes to plates and silverware.
We also offer full service catering for events like weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, or private dinners in your home.
Our menus always reflect the delicious, seasonal favorites on our current menu – whole-hog pulled pork BBQ, fried chicken, cast-iron skillet cornbread…you know, the good stuff.
We are able to offer plated prix-fixe, buffet, and hors d’oeuvres style menus depending on the preferred style of your event.
Whatever style you prefer, our Event Coordinator will work with you to craft the perfect selection of hors d’oeuvres, appetizers, entrees, desserts & drinks for the occasion.
We are happy to accommodate any dietary preferences with advanced notice.
