Greetings from Snowboro,
#1) It’s not snowing in the kitchen. #2) There are boxes of delicious oysters in the walk-in refrigerator waiting to be shucked. And from what I can tell, #3) the bourbon has yet to go bad. From my perspective, Acme is snowmageddon-proof. So, there’s that.
Then there’s the fact that going out for dinner on a snow day is just plain fun. You know, an adventure. Just think of the lifetime of the stories you’ll get to tell about braving the blizzard of ’18. But maybe the best part is that so many of you can walk – there truly is something magical in that. Carrboro really becomes a small town when it snows. And that’s a good thing.
So, put that milk and bread down. Spare the Spaghetti-Os. Your snow day just got an upgrade. Come join us; living in Carrboro has its perks. We’ll open our doors at 5pm.
Well, that’s all the news from Carrboro. The staff at Acme look forward to serving you soon.
Cheers,
The Staff at Acme
