It was a veritable shrine to saccharine nestled behind their garage and partially hidden behind a large camelia.
Scarcity does that. We react in odd ways. Tell us we can’t have something and we’re drawn to those very things like flies. Whether it be diamonds or gold or a tropical island getaway during a travelless Covid winter. You know exactly the place that I’m talking about. The one with warm breezes and blue, blue water and palm trees skirting the endless, white, sandy beach. That island getaway. The precise vacation that you can’t have right now. Or anytime soon. Go ahead and close your eyes. I bet you can hear the waves and smell the salt-kissed air.
