I’m an aisle guy. But, to be honest, I was a window guy for most of my life; so I completely understand making that call. And you gotta agree, right, that there really can’t be anyone who’s a middle seat guy without having a rather long list of other issues. So, that’s not really a valid category. Because life always seems to divide the world into two clear camps, not three.
And Valentine’s Day is no different. There’s team reservations-and-must-go-out and then there’s team stay-at-home-and-chill. Anyone somehow trapped in between those options will probably end up at the Wendy’s drive-thru window which is a bad – I repeat, bad – place to be on February 14th with your numero uno in tow. At least for the relationship. Just saying. So, regarding the better choices, I’m sure you know which one you’ll choose or, maybe more importantly, which side of the ledger your significant other resides.
This year, Acme is working both sides of the aisle. The way we see it, all of you who want to stay at home on the 14th are left with an arduous amount of shopping and cooking on a Tuesday night. And that isn’t fair. If everyone else can solve the Valentine’s Day dilemma with a few clicks on a computer, why shouldn’t you? All of us at the restaurant 100% agree.
So, voila. The Valentine’s Day To-Go Feast for your at-home dining pleasure. Lobster pot pie with bibb lettuce salad, blue crab and artichoke spread, with an individual cheesecake and chocolate terrine for dessert. Cost is $80 and will feed two people. Pick up will be on the 14th between noon and 2pm at Acme. We’ll even have sangria that you can pick up with your meal – if you want to scratch that itch. Because regardless of how you spend that day and night, Valentine’s shouldn’t be a chore. Far from it. So, if you want to stay at home, all you have to do is click here. Easy, peasy.
And for Valentine’s Day reservations in the restaurant, click here. 19 days and counting!
